Bolt for the Heart 5k Run/Walk

The Michigan State Police (MSP) is hosting the first Bolt for the Heart 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, May 18 at the MSP Training Academy.

*7:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. – Registration and Package Pickup
*9:00 a.m. – Race Begins, Rain or Shine

Other race day activities include:
-Tour the MSP Training Academy
-Meet local state troopers
-Learn about careers with MSP
-Enjoy kids’ activities

The mission of Michigan’s Bolt for the Heart is to place an AED in each MSP patrol car, and to provide preventative cardiac screenings
for troopers.

Michigan’s Bolt for the Heart is in memory of MSP Sgt. Peter McNamara (1963-2018).
