Learn517: The Heights of Human Ingenuity

Thursday, January 23, 2020
1:30 pm - 3:00 pm

During this month’s LEARN517 program at the Michigan History Center, explore the theme of “In the Sky” through the lens of Michigan history. Learn about how nature has inspired our airborne technology and how humans in Michigan have pursued great heights over the years. Then, conduct an experiment that will send things flying…;D

Admission for LEARN517 at the Michigan History Center is $5/student, $4/adult and advance registration is not required. Just stop in! Please plan to arrive as close to 1:30pm as possible to ensure that your student can experience the entire program.

Experience dynamic learning environments through LEARN517, a homeschool partnership program that explores a monthly theme through the disciplines of art, science, nature, and history. Each program partner hosts a 1:30-3 p.m. program once a month, on Thursdays. Programs are designed for learners ages 6-11. Learn more at Michigan.gov/MHC
