Pasta Making Workshop

Sunday, February 17, 2019
4:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Join us at Swallowtail Farm for a pasta-making workshop on Sunday, February 17th from 4:00-6:30 p.m. In this workshop, we’ll roll up our sleeves to create simple and delicious egg noodles. Sarah-Beth Censoni-Johnson learned from her Nonna (Italian for grandma) how to make pasta when she was a girl. It has always been a passion of hers. She owned and operated Nonna’s Noodles in Portland, OR for 7 years and has made thousands of pounds of pasta. She specializes in egg based pastas, which only take 2-3 mins to cook. Now based in the Lansing area, she’s ready to share her knowledge of pasta-making with us. At the end of the workshop, participants will share a tasting of some of the noodles prepared in a simple, farm-sourced sauce served with Swallowtail salad. You’ll also have some pasta to take home. We’ll have Swallowtail Farm natural fruit sodas available, or you are welcome to bring along your favorite thing to sip on.
