REO Town Art Attack

On Sunday, September 15th the REO Town Art Attack kicks off Below The Stacks Mural Festival and returns with a smattering of youth competitions, workshops, art vendors, and more! This year’s festival will feature a slightly different format than previous years with an emphasis on family-friendly events. On the agenda:

Super Smash Brothers Ultimate competition and vintage arcade by Classic Groupe!
Youth Cosplay competition with prizes from Capital City Comic Con!
Poetry competition in collaboration with The Poetry Room!
Graffiti demonstrations and workshops with All of the Above Hip Hop Academy!
Hands on art activities with Reach Studio Art Center!
Juggling performance and instruction!
Cosplay demonstrations by How-To Halloween!
Dance performances by Happendance!

Competitions are open to all youth ages 5-20. Adult participation is encouraged! A more detailed schedule will be added as the event approaches. This year’s event will not feature a beer tent, but drinks are available at Reo Town Pub, Sleepwalker Spirits and Ale, and The Rusty Mug!
