Concerts in the Park – Lansing’s Guide to Musical Entertainment this Summer

Summer in the greater Lansing area means free music in the park nearly every week, with outdoor concerts bringing together local bands, families, and neighbors for live performances, community connection, and relaxed evenings outdoors.

These events often coincide with markets and feature food vendors, lawn seating, and activities for all ages, making music in the park a Lansing-area seasonal tradition.

Tuesdays

Delta Township Sharp Park	May 18, June 15, July 20 7 PM	Bring a chair or blanket and settle in on the ball diamond. Free.

Wednesdays

MSU/East Lansing Courtyard outside Beaumont Tower	June 3, 10, 17, 24; July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; August 5, 12, 19, 26 6 PM	Rain or shine, with cancellations only in the case of severe weather. Picnics are welcome. Free.
Meridian Township Marketplace on the Green	June 3, 10, 17, 24; July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; August 5, 12, 19, 26; September 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 6:30 PM	Running alongside the Wednesday Farmers’ Market. The market takes place from 3 – 7 PM.
City of Lansing Various Locations	June 10, 17, 24; July 8, 15, 22, 29; August 5 7 PM	Bring a chair or blanket. Concerts rotate through various parks in the Lansing area. See link under City for more information.
St. Johns	June 17, 24; July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; August 5, 12, 19, 26; September 2 7 PM	Concerts are held at the William E. Tennant Performance Shell. They are free to attend, rain or shine, with donations gratefully accepted.

Mason Ingham County Courthouse Front Step	May 21; June 11, 25; July 9, 23; August 13, 27; September 17 6:30 PM	Free, family-friendly concerts featuring local music & food
DeWitt Riverside Park	July 16, 23, 30; August 6 7 PM	Great music, great food, and weekly raffle prizes. Bring a blanket or chair.
Grand Ledge Jaycee Park	June 18, 25; July 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; August 6, 13 7 PM	Bring your friends and a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the concert. Food concessions will be available onsite, along with access to a new playground and splash pad. So don’t forget a towel!
Holt Veterans Memorial Gardens	July 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 7 PM	Bring your friends and family & enjoy food from a local food truck
Owosso Mitchell Amphitheater	July 9, 16, 23, 30; August 6 7 PM	Free
