Moms Night Out: Why a LITTLE break can make a HUGE difference.
I’ve done a lot of recon on this topic. My super-hero mom-friends and I have a moms night out for each of our birthdays. It helps us have built-in hang times year round.
What we didn’t know when we started these moms night out adventures was the weight that would be lifted afterward. As moms we carry an invisible weight that no one can see, yet every mom can feel. For us, moms night out means talking about things that are stressing in our lives, dishing about funny stories, and most of all laughing so hard we almost cry. It is truly a major refresher in our lives.
If one of your goals this year is to create more space for self-care – a moms night out may be a perfect contender. If you do this on the regular then you know exactly what I’m talking about.
