Preschool Guide

In a loving, nurturing, Christ-like environment, Saint Martha School guides each student to develop his or her unique ability and potential through prayer, study, and service.

Enrollment opens on March 1, 2021.

The IHM Preschool and Child Care Program provides activities that foster growth and development physically, emotionally, socially, intellectually, and spiritually. We believe these are equally important and interrelated with one another.

In a safe nurturing environment with a professionally trained child care director, a preschool teacher, and support staff, we provide a variety of developmentally planned activities including recreation, arts and crafts, games, dramatic play, free choice and many other enrichment experiences.

Stories and games
Opportunities to explore and discover God’s creation

The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP Play-Based Curriculum) is Michigan’s state-funded preschool program for four-year-old children. The program is administered by the Michigan Department of Education (MDE).

These high quality classrooms help prepare children for successful entry into Kindergarten at little or no cost to families.

At Looking Glass CDC, we are devoted to creating a nurturing, stimulating and accepting learning environment based on High Scope Curriculum that provides children with the tools they need for future happiness and success.

The first five years of life are critical in development. We are committed to building on each child’s strengths, interests, curiosity, and desire to learn.

Our goal at Looking Glass Child Development Center is to provide the highest quality early childhood programming for infants (6 weeks) through school age. We offer unique services to meet and exceed the needs and expectations of our families.

Our K-Prep program offers age-specific curriculum for 3-year-olds, 4-year-olds, and young 5’s.

We understand that preschoolers need the freedom to explore, inquire, and engage. That’s why our approach is so effective. We provide a developmentally-appropriate environment for hands-on learning that’s stimulating and fun so your child can grow, play, and learn at their own pace. They’ll love engaging in art, music, movement, and circle time – and you’ll love the confidence and skills they develop.

Families can choose from full-time or part-time schedules from 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday-Friday. Healthy breakfast, lunch, and snacks are served daily and fun
