Where to find Holiday + Christmas Events around Lansing 2021
It’s officially the season of holiday and Christmas events!
This year you’ll find places to see a live nativity where the story of Christmas comes to life.
You’ll find events and places with Santa’s Reindeer and hot chocolate to keep you warm and cozy. You can experience beautiful performances and concerts reflecting all of the Holidays that Lansing families celebrate.
That beautiful diversity is one of the things that makes Lansing, Lansing…the love, care, and holiday spirit that reminds us just what this season is all about.
2021 Christmas or Holiday Event Guide: Live Nativity, The Nutcracker, Performances, Reindeer Visits + more!
You can almost feel the holiday magic in the air!
Those fond fuzzy feelings of love and joy are still just as alive for me as an adult as they were when I was little and in big part because of this awesome community that continues to hold phenomenal Christmas events and Holiday fun all over the Lansing area.
Let’s get to planning, shall we?!
Your Holiday and Christmas Event Planning starts here:
Join us this winter for a chance to explore the historic Moon Cabin and enjoy the woodstove before heading back into the snow. Guests can head into the barn as well to enjoy a hot cocoa bar while doing some crafts.
Join Oatmeal and his friend George, the planetarium wizard, as they travel the world in search of Santa. Along the way they are told constellation stories from many cultures and how to use the stars of the Big Dipper to find north. This holiday show is particularly appropriate for young children and their families.
Bring the whole family to the MSU Broad to warm up with hot cocoa and art-making activities inspired by wintery works of art in our collection! All ages are welcome. Registration for this free event is required.
A sensory-friendly event allowing for children and family members with all spectrums of special needs to enjoy the time-honored tradition of the Santa Photo Experience in a calming environment prior to public hours. RSVP required.
