Visit animals at the MSU Farms. Horses, sheep, cows, and more. Milking procedures can be observed every afternoon. Bring some carrots or apples to feed the horses. FREE.
Visit Allen Neighborhood Market year-round to find fresh produce and great artisan vendor finds.
Take a guided or self-guided tour of the Michigan State Capitol (Maps/Guides available at the info center), Michigan Justice Building, and Beaumont Tower. Every Tuesday from 12 – 12:30 the building will be open for tourists to walk up the 73 stairs to the top and watch the carillon player at work at the Beaumont Tower. You may get an opportunity to play a bell! Then, climb even further up to see the bells as they chime through campus.
