Brave the Scary for a Great Cause

Just like last year, Tommy’s Express Car Wash in Lansing is partnering with a local charity to help others.

Last year, a portion of all proceeds went to Footprints of Michigan to help distribute footwear to those in need in the area.

This year, Tommy’s Express is teaming up with Champions of the Heart, whose mission is to provide automated external defibrillator (AED) devices and CPR trainings to all communities.

A portion of the proceeds from the Tunnel of Terror will go to Champions of the Heart

The Champions of the Heart Foundation was founded by former Michigan State University assistant basketball coach Mike Garland and his wife Cynthia.

This cause is near and dear to their hearts as Mike suffered a sudden cardiac arrest last year. Watch the Garland’s story here.

Is the Tunnel of Terror Too Scary for Kids?

When it comes to Halloween-themed adventures, how do you know how scary is too scary?

According to Tommy’s Express Car Wash’s frequently asked questions on their website, the Haunted Car Wash might not be suitable for young children or those who scare easily.

Do your kids get spooked out by Halloween movies? If so, this type of Halloween activity might not be the best activity for them.

On the other hand, if your kids live for a thrill, this frightening wash is the perfect place to be this October.
